The design and functionality of the SIMATIC PM 1507 single-phase load power supply (PM = power module) with automatic range selection of the input voltage makes it an optimal match to the SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC.
It supplies the S7-1500 system components such as CPU; system power supply (PS); I/O circuits of the input and output modules and; if necessary; the sensors and actuators with 24Vdc.
The load current supplies are directly fastened to the S7-1500 mounting rail (without connection to the backplane bus) and can be mounted directly to the left of the CPU (no installation clearance required)
Diagnostics LEDs to indicate status and faults; Operation; Fault; Standby
ON/OFF switches (operation/standby) in case of swapping modules
Mains connection plug with touch protection and strain relief for connection of input voltage (enables permanent wiring)
Plug-in 24Vdc output terminal with reverse polarity protection for connection of 24V loads (enables permanent wiring)
Connection to all 1-phase 50/60 Hz networks (120 / 230Vac) through automatic range switching
Short-term mains buffering
Output voltage of 24Vdc that is limited to maximum 28Vdc (prevents any damages in 24V loads if input voltage is too high)
